Aladdin Magic Lube 1oz Teflon Lubricant / Sealant 630

I used this product years ago for seals in my hot tub filter;it worked great. This time I used them in rebuilding a faucet to lube the "O" rings; still a great product. A little goes a long way and it is tough to get off your fingers. That same quality makes it the best type product for all types of rubber,silicone in contact with water.

Magic lube is perfect for O rings. It softens the rubber rings and keeps them from drying out. I very little bit goes a very long way. Being non toxic I am able to use it for the little O rings on my camper's water filter. Without lubrication the filter is very difficult to remove. This product solves that problem. I use it in place of oil or grease if the application "might" come into contact with food or water for human consumption. It's teflon based and sticks nicely where placed. The package claims a "wide temperature range" - it has gotten as hot as 125 degrees (F) in my camper and the lube did not "run". I doubt if it can be used for exposure next to "fire hot" areas. I routinely use a Q tip to wipe a layer of the product on all rubber gaskets on small appliances. It does not appear to dry out even after being in place over a year. A little goes a long way, but I suggest 2 or 3 tubes as the postage cost almost the same as the product.
