The "armrests" are worthless as they are only 3/4" wide. They should be called pinky rests as that is all I could fit on them. So basically the 32" tub you bought now has the soaking room of a 30" tub. The front apron had a significant bow so it wasn't straight at the tile edge. I was expecting the almond color to match my almond Kohler sinks. Not the case. My almond tub looks more pinkish :( The foot actuated drain doesn't work when the tub is full. You have to reach down and lift it by hand and even after that it gets sucked back down and doesn't drain. After this happens a couple of times you resolve to unscrewing the stopper. The Kohler drain assembly is a ripoff and was incredibly difficult to find in oil rubbed bronze. The oil rubbed bronze is actually black and looks nothing like the Kohler website picture. Apron does not bow, drain works just as it should. Armrests are a nice feature. Materials feel solid for what they are, and the tub allows for a very deep soak. We had glass installed on the apron side and the tub fully supports a heavy pane of glass. Finally, it looks great and was very affordable. Would recommend to anyone. 6 of 6 people found the following review helpful: Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: KOHLER K-1123-RA-0 Archer 5-Foot Bath, White (Tools & Home Improvement) If you are installing in an alcove that is already drywalled in on the other side of the studs, and it's hard to access the plumbing, you will have some difficulty installing this yourself - could be worth it to hire a plumber to save some frustration! The instructions for leveling are not very clear, and the leveling blocks are near impossible to reach once the tub is in place in an enclosed alcove. Would recommend a mortar bed installation, even though they say it's not required. Tub is nice - good, simple style. |
