Set up can be confusing because you have to take off one complete side panel. To do this you must also remove the two corner pieces. Then you have to cut and pull back the plastic unsulation which is stapled to the frame. This is the only way to get the electric cord out to plug into the wall. I also had to cut a notch in the lower two by four wood frame for the plug cord to come out. Otherwise you would not be able to get the panel screwed back in because the cord would be in the way. The manual is also behind this insulation sheet in the form of a cd disc.
Taking off the panel is not too difficult but putting it back is a pain. It takes two people to do this because you have to hold it up in place while you are putting the screws back in and the panel is heavy. Also, the panel fits in using tongue and groove and its a bit tricky to get both ends to fit on the corner at the same time. As soon as I would get one corner to fit the other one would pop out.

There was no tech manual sent with product and the online manual provided by the company is so general as to be relatively useless - the control side of the tub is Chinese-made, & according to the tech assist I needed to get the tub up and running, is prone to failure. The plug which is stowed internal to the tub is less than 12 feet long, not the 15ft advertised - plan ahead!! Tub warms up at about three degrees an hour , but once it's heated the system appears well-insulated. Tech was impressed at the size of the bench seats, tub will hold 5 moderately sized adults. Price at Amazon was $1K less than local offers, so nice bang for the comparable buck

Received this hot tub just over 3 weeks from the order date. It took only 4 men to move it where we wanted it. Set up was easy once the panel was removed. CD instructions were great and once I filled up the tub per the instructions, it was running perfectly. This is a great tub for the price. Plenty of room for 5 people. Also the Amazon rep kept in good communication with me throughout the order/shipping process. My only complaint that keeps this review from receiving a 5th star concerns the access panel. This is a tongue and groove panel and it is very difficult to get back in place when working alone. The panel has to be removed during instillation so that the instructions can be retrieved and the pump can be accessed. I dread having to take that panel off again. Thankfully I shouldn't have to unless I need to get to the pump, the electrical or the plumbing at some point in the future. A new design for an access panel is greatly needed. However, overall I would hightly recommend...Read more
